I'm Kristine Hoang Summers, born and raised in Portland. I started at the front desk of a small naturopathic clinic and helped grow it into a functional medicine concierge practice, which I managed for a decade. Time in a hospital setting, including through COVID, showed me how cold conventional care can feel, for patients and for the people caring for them. That contrast became my calling.
Over 17 years, I've managed practices from 1 to 25 providers. The clinics I'm proudest of treated each person as a whole human over time, not as a series of separate appointments, and gave the same care to their systems and to the people delivering it. That's what made both the care and the practice sustainable. I always knew I wanted to be indirectly, directly responsible for the delivery of quality patient care. I've also completed coursework through Johns Hopkins in project management and health IT management.
I have empathy for clinicians carrying the weight of their patients and their practice. I have it for the front desk staff and medical assistants who keep it all running. Most of all, I have it for patients. I'm a patient too, and I know how overwhelming it feels to go unseen and unheard. People seeking care are already vulnerable, and getting care should never add to that burden.
Amaaré Partners grew from that belief. Most integrative providers already have the clinical expertise. What's often missing is a practice built to deliver it. So I focus on what happens behind the scenes: the systems, the workflows, the training, the details. Patient charts, employee records, inventory. All of it built intuitively around your clinic's needs, so your clinical and administrative team is supported to provide excellent care. I partner with providers who share my commitment to integrity, trauma-informed safety, and compassionate, intuitive care.

Outside of work, you'll find me with friends, feeding the wildlife in my backyard, on a self-retreat, or lost in a good book.

AI is a useful tool. It helps me develop ideas and type faster than I ever could. But it can't truly experience your vision for your patients, be there for hands-on, one-on-one time with your patients and your team, or care about the success of your clinic. I can, and I do.

Who do you work with?
Private integrative health practices, including naturopathic doctors, functional medicine providers, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. Whether you're launching your own practice or realigning an established one, in an insurance, cash-pay, membership, or hybrid model.
What does it cost?
Every partnership starts with a one-hour discovery consultation for $185. Ongoing work is priced to fit your practice, whether that's hourly support, a monthly retainer, or a defined project.
What do I get from the discovery consultation?
Before we meet, you'll receive a custom preliminary questionnaire. It gives us insight into your needs, your worries, and what you want to accomplish, including your budget and timeline.
When we meet, we come prepared with our observations, where we can start, a custom anticipated fee schedule, and how we can help. You'll leave with a clear picture either way. If we don't end up working together, I'm happy to share recommendations for where you can start.
Where do you work, and is it in person?
We serve clinics throughout Oregon, with in-person work primarily in the Portland area. Remote support is available for practices elsewhere in the state, but we love meeting the people we work with in person whenever we can. Seeing your clinic, your team, and how a day really flows tells us more than any call.
I wasn't referred. How long is the waitlist?
Please still reach out. When you contact us, you'll hear directly from Kristine, no one else. You'll get a personal response and a realistic expectation of when we can start working with you.
Who will I be working with?
Kristine, directly. When you partner with Amaaré Partners, you work with our founder from the first conversation to the last workflow. No handoffs to junior staff, no being passed along.
Is there anything you don't offer?
Amaaré Partners doesn't provide financial services, tax advice, legal advice, or marketing. What you will get is compliance guidance, recommended steps for what your practice needs, and referrals to trusted professionals who can help with the rest.
How soon will I hear back?
Within 2 business days, with a personal reply from Kristine.
How do you protect patient privacy?
If our work with your practice involves patient information, we sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) so your practice stays HIPAA compliant. Your patients' privacy is protected the same way you protect it.
